Introducing The Void
Hello everyone, hope life has been alright. I had a fun rude awakening, and now I'm going to uni for my bachelor's... Enough said I think, the job market sucks and it just isn't what I thought it'd be went I got out of college with my associate's degree.Anyways, lately I've been noticing that I've been using one of the Discord servers I'm in as a void for miscellaneous thoughts or topics that not a whole lot of people can really respond to. It's mainly been my laptop dying and taunting me as it does, but still, I figured it'd be cool to make a smaller easily-updateable blog that I can just type into whenever I'd like. And because no one can really respond to anything there (mostly because I don't have a clue as to how to make a chat box), I'm calling it The Void.
To get to it, you can just click on 'The Void' in the header of any page here. It isn't anything fancy, but I will say the JavaScript was a bit weird to setup. It's actually a portion of reused code from a website a family member asked me for. Still haven't finished it. Probably should.
Anyways, a quick update since I'm popping off at the moment: On my last post, I spoke about posting a new blog about why I decided to remove a portion of my beats on Newgrounds and what it meant to me. Obviously, I never finished it because I never posted it and honestly, I don't know when it'll be finished since the fire in me to do so kind of died down. It was gonna be something fairly well researched with examples and such, so it was going to be a much bigger undertaking than what I'm used to writing about here, and because of that, the flame fizzled and I got busy with life. Think it happens to everybody, but I'm sorry if anyone was interested in it. Probably should've gotten a little more than I did done before I teased it.
No new music just yet, but I've been working on some small tracks that I'm hoping to develop further. That and I've gotten myself into some game development stuff as well. Pico-8 is such a fun tool to learn all this stuff by the way, it's great.
And that's it really, I don't have anything too meaningful to report back. I feel like going back to schooling for my bachelor's was parr for the course, so yeah... Uhh... boye!
